At the 92nd edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, Aeronautica Militare presented its new Spring Summer 2018 Men’s Collection, designed and made for all the men who want to be ingenious and love style. Aeronautica Militare’s garments have strength, character and empathy, which are distinguishing marks of those who know who they are, where they come from and, of course, where they want to go.
The collection is divided into three lines: Urban – Action – Up
Urban Collection – This collection is made up of asy-to-wear garments for everyday life that combine comfort, convenience but also style and elegance. The colours are sober and not excessive, and range from all the shades of classic blue to the unavoidable white, red and green; some new warm tones were introduced, such as orange, yellow and light blue. These clothes are suitable for any moment of the day, with a uniform style in which logos, crests, and ornaments representing Aeronautica Militare’s essence are discrete. The only symbols used are the eagle with the towers, standing for military pilots, and the tricolour rosette, indicating exclusiveness and belonging.
Action Collection – This collection tells about the real and genuine world of this brand and shows its values making them known. For each season, Aeronautica Militare chooses to pay tribute to the Task Forces that have contributed to the story of the Italian Military Air Force. Great attention is paid to the construction of garments, the choice of materials, the search for fabrics and colour combinations: each garment having its own personality.
In some of the garments, stylistic and graphical aspects produce very strong and evident contrasts in line with the brand dynamism. There are also tone-on-tone cases, with traditional military colours: green, mud and sand, and camouflage prints to indicate and interpret the military style in a modern and contemporary way.
Up Collection – This collection includes the most innovative soul of this new Spring Summer range; the aim was to enhance the expertise of the company and significant importance was given to shape and design. New materials and new processing techniques are proposed; product quality is the cornerstone on which the collection is based. A wardrobe that can be easily mixed between tradition and innovation.
The Denim Division and Easy Care Division are two mini collections intended to overcome seasonality and integrate with the main collection, while proposing authentic experiences and trends.
Denim Division – Denim is the protagonist: a performing and resistant material that becomes unique thanks to manufacturing and washing processes. Stretch and non-stretch denim trousers have five pockets with an incredible look, where details make the difference. The distinctive metal eagle on the fifth pocket; the stitching on the back pockets; the leather label with the golden eagle and the tricolour rosette; and the Flasher with the coat of arms of the Italian Air Force framed by the Latin phrase ‘Virtute Siderum Tenus,’ a three-word motto that sums up the passion, the value and the love for flight.
Easy Care Division – This collection is dedicated to those traveling for business or pleasure and looking for convenience and comfort. The Easy Care Division offers a total look consisting of a few selected garments, which are interchangeable, and have simple lines and essential cuts. They all are soft and light, and do not crease, thanks to innovative and cutting-edge materials such as Solotex and Deltapeak. Solotex is a new generation fibre, with a unique molecular structure, which combines lightness and softness with an extraordinary shape memory, which will revolutionize the current meaning of the word ‘comfort’. Deltapeak is a material in which technical performance and quality are combined thanks to the physical properties of this fabric, which offers breathability, lightness, and elasticity.
